Dr. Nnaemeka Agajelu, MD

Dr. Agajelu graduated from University of Nigeria, College of Medicine, with an MBBS degree in 1994. He completed an internship and residency in McLaren Regional Medical Center/Michigan State University in 2001.

Dr. Agajelu is very involved in the local community and has worked in and around Glen Burnie since 2001. He is affiliated with Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC), formerly known as North Arundel Hospital. He served as Secretary of the Medical Staff from 2006-2008. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and his special interests are cardiology and nephrology.

Nora N Agajelu, CRNP

Mrs. Nora Agajelu has been a Certified Primary Care Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) since 2011. She started off as a Registered Nurse in 2006. She graduated with an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Montgomery College, Silver Spring and then acquired valuable acute and long term care experience at The John's Hopkins Hospital and Genesis Healthcare. She completed her bachelors degree in nursing cum laude from the University of Maryland in 2008. She continued to work part-time as an RN with Home Care agencies, while pursuing her Master's Degrees for Adult Nurse Practitioner and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. She graduated in 2011, and became certified soon after. She has worked part time as an RN.

She dedicates her time to The Primary Care Group and her family with 2 young sons. Her special interests include diabetic teaching, medication management and geriatrics.


Eden Fernandez, PA-C

Eden Fernandez is a 2001 graduate of the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. After completing her studies, she returned to the US and started her career in Medical Technology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital - Transfusion Medicine Department. She spent some time as a Lead Medical Technologist at the blood bank.

She completed her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She also sees patients with her supervising physician, Dr. Nnaemeka Agajelu at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Her interests include Patient Education and Wellness initiatives, Diabetic management, and Women’s health.

Anita Mbah, PA-C

Anita Mbah is a certified physician assistant and holds the bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland Eastern shore.  Anita’s academic and clinical experience while in the physician assistant program emphasized on internal and family medicine which allows for a broad-spectrum of care.  In this role Anita conducts physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order an interpret tests; develop treatment plans and counsels patients on preventative care.  Anita is a believer in great quality of health care for all patients.

Prior to starting her career as a physician assistant Anita worked for 13 years as a national certified pharmacy technician in the specialty and  retail pharmacy industry.  In this role Anita was responsible for medication therapy management, specialty medication prior authorization, filling and finding all available resources for patient’s optimized, access and adheres to therapy.

Anita started her career with The Primary Care Group in 2016 and is certified by the national commission for certification of physician assistant (NCCPA).
